A Mumbai homeowner, who recently bought a Colgate mouthwash from Amazon.com, was shocked and amazed to receive an intelligent brand-new RedmiNote 10 phone rather.

Lokesh Daga shared his mouthwatering ‘present’ photos on Twitter together with the id and the order to show his claim.

Because mouthwash is a consumable item, he would not send it back via the returns app.

The closer analysis exposed that his order was exchanged with a Hyderabad client who now got his Colgate mouthwash instead of the mobile as ordered.

“Hello @amazonIN, ordered a Colgate mouth wash via ORDER # 406-9391383-4717957 and instead of that got a @RedmiIndia note 10. Since mouth was in a consumable product returns are restricted and am unable to request for return via the app.”

“However, on opening the plan, I can see that the product packaging label was mine. However, the invoice was of someone else’s. I have emailed you as well to get the product provided to the ideal person,” stated Daga’s tweets along with photos of his mouthwash order and the phone he got.

The matter has since gone viral, with Twitter offering remarks and comparable examples of such shipment gaffes by such shipment companies worldwide.

There were no reactions from the business or the other purported client who has now burdened a mouthwash. However, Daga has requested Amazon to make sure that produce (phone) reach the desired customer.

Lokesh Daga’s post quickly spread virally with diverse likes and retweets while social media users shared their thoughts in the comments section. Some of the comments are pretty hilarious.
