The code found in the Apple Music Android app exposes two options for lossless playback – lossless (ALAC up to 24-bit/ 48KHz) and High-Res Lossless (ALAC approximately 24-bit/ 192KHx).

Separately, a report in XDA Developers mentions a post on Reddit that exposes Apple Music on Android to get animated covers. Users will see more vibrant album art that plays like a GIF when users click on a playlist or artist.
