Airtel was providing the Rs.49 pack free of cost as a one-time gesture.

Airtel on Sunday revealed unique benefits for its low-income clients on its network. These benefits, worth 270 crores, are focused on helping users remain connected throughout the ongoing pandemic.

Airtel stated it would provide the Rs.49 pack to qualified consumers free of cost as a one-time gesture. The pack features a talk time of Rs.38 and 100MB of data with a validity of 28 days. The plan will benefit about 55 million low-income Airtel clients.

Airtel has also announced offering double benefit on a choose recharge plan.

“At this time, clients have an increased requirement of staying connected. Keeping this in mind, Airtel prepaid customers buying the Rs.79 Recharge Coupon will now get double the advantage. This will make it simpler for them to remain connected at a tough time,” the company stated in a release.

These benefits will be offered to Airtel consumers in the coming week.Airtel had revealed similar services for its low-income customers last year owing to the pandemic and lockdowns. These benefits consisted of an extension of the prepaid validity and Rs.10 credit, among others.

Independently, Airtel has introduced a set of resources to assist users. The business has likewise included two new subsections in the Explore section of its Airtel Thanks app.

The very first subsection is called ‘Covid SoS’. This area supplies validated and upgraded contacts for materials, such as medicines, oxygen, plasma donors, ambulances, hospital beds and screening centres, to name a few.

The 2nd subsection, called Cowin, lets users discover a slot at a vaccination centre and book their own and their loved ones.
