Under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (43th Batch lTl and Non lTl), there is a proposal to make a panelthrough online process for the 374 seats (300 Il + 74 Non lTl holders) for candidates training in thefollowing trades in terms of the Railway Board’s letter No. (MPP) 200916114 Dated 06.10.2015. Thenumber of apprentices can be changed based on requirements. The details of seats, educational andtechnical qualifications are as under.-
Minimum Education Qualification :-
l. For Non lTl:-The Candidate must have passed 1Oth class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system)with minimum 50% marks. Candidate should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date ofissue of notification,
ll. For ITI:-The Candidate must have passed 1Oth class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system)with minimum 50% marks, from recognized Board and also must passed lTl in the relevant trades. Candidateshould have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issUe of notification.
III. Appearing Candidates in the above exams are not eligible to fill up the application, only those candidates canapply for the above mentioned seats who have academic and technical qualifications related to the certificate/ Mark sheet issued before the date of notification
Applicant’s age limit should be calculated as oer the last date 21/11/2019 of the submission of online application as mentianed below:-
l. For Non lTl:-. Non lTl candidate has completed 15 years of age, and is not more lhan 22 years old
For lTl:-lTl passed in the relevant trade has completed 15 years of age, and not more than 24 years.Age limit for welder trade, and carpenter candidates – from 15 years to 22 years only.
